Description: French toast, flowers, cupcakes, and starbucks!
Artist’s Commentary: Long time no blogging! Well okay, not really, but it feels that way. It seems whenever something school related comes up I blog less…well, I’m getting back into it and after this week things should go back to normal!
Of course I’m writing this when I’m supposed to be studying - between you and me, I’m taking a “break”. I’ve probably taken one too many. Summer school, fun stuff.
Despite my wacky summer schedule, life’s been well! I’ve been working on making a stretcher and a multi-layer painting. I finished my abstract ribbon painting so I’ll post that soon. Of course I have about a bazillion things to talk about for my youtube channel vlog series, I just have to find the motivation to film them.
As for my goals for the rest of the summer, besides creating more vlogs I want to work on my animation skills and get fit. It’s really sad how those things don’t correlate or play hand in hand (the struggle is too real), but nonetheless I’m excited and looking forward to sharing these with you!
My Vlogs: Jack of All Trades, Master of None? - Description: Sometimes life gives you so many options that it can be overwhelming! Especially when it comes to career choices or hobbies. Watch above and share your thoughts!
This is one of my favorite shots that I took with my old camera. This shot features one of my favorite places to think. I’ve come here many times at different points in my life, whether I was happy or stressed. Over the years, I realized that although this view hasn’t changed, I have.
To another person, change may not be easy to see, but I believe that change happens every single day. It’s so easy to look in the mirror everyday and not see a change. The most incredible discovery is when we look back to where we were a week ago, a month, or even back to a year and realize that we are not the same person we once were. A lot has happened since then - we’re now (hopefully) smarter, wiser, and more prepared for what’s coming up next.
Change can be scary, but with the right mindset and people around you, it doesn’t have to be.
My Photography: Color My World - Description: Fill my world with color and I’ll fill your heart with love.
Artist’s Commentary: I’m enjoying capturing all these pretty lights with my camera. I really like the vividness of the colors in this shot. To be honest I’m really exhausted right now. Despite my tiredness I came up with more ideas for vlogs! So expect that next Monday! I have a paper due this Thursday that I need to start working on, wish me luck!
My Vlogs: Awkward Silences - Description: My thoughts on awkward silences and how to minimize them!
Artist’s Commentary: Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates, this weekend Mother Nature decided to dawn upon me, so I mostly rested. Plus I’ve been working on this video (I think it turned out pretty well!) and I had an interview (which went great!).
I can’t believe I’m starting to vlog now, as if art blogging wasn’t enough. Well I got to release my talkativeness somewhere right? So why not rant to the internet? Haha. It’s all a part of my creative outlet. It counts…anyways, happy Monday! Cheers to less awkward silences!
My Photography: Summer Lovin’ - Description: My favorite part about summer is swimming, in the pool or the ocean, it’s all so fun. And when you see the light reflecting on the water, that moment is priceless.
